Caesars Launches Remote Roulette From Tropicana Atlantic City
Caesars Entertainment has launched "Remote Roulette," a live-dealer roulette game that streams from a physical wheel on the Tropicana Atlantic City casino floor and lets online players in New Jersey spin alongside guests at the table in real time. The game went live September 21 and is powered by Evolution's Dual Play Roulette technology, which shares a single wheel's outcomes between in-person and remote players simultaneously.
Part of a wider push to blend the casino floor with online play
Remote Roulette is available across Caesars' New Jersey online casino brands, including Caesars Palace Online Casino, Tropicana Casino, and WSOP. It follows "Remote Reels," Caesars' earlier product that lets online players spin physical slot machines located inside Tropicana Atlantic City. Caesars Digital executive Matthew Sunderland said the new game "brings online players closer to the casino floor than ever before," while Evolution's Marcus Huber called it a continuation of the companies' partnership.
The numbers behind the move
The launch comes as Caesars' New Jersey iGaming business has generated more than $210 million through August 2026, up 11% year-over-year, even as in-person results at some of its own Atlantic City properties have softened — Tropicana's on-property gaming revenue was down 2.6% to $149.1 million and Harrah's was down 2.2% to $153.3 million over the same stretch. Tying online products directly to activity on the physical casino floor is one way operators are trying to keep retail properties relevant as online play continues to take a larger share of overall gaming revenue.
Why it matters for players
For New Jersey online casino players, Remote Roulette is another live-dealer option alongside the growing number of studio-based games already offered by operators in the state — see our live dealer casino games guide for how these products generally work and how they differ from studio-only live games. As with any live or studio-based casino product, the house edge on the underlying roulette wheel itself doesn't change based on how the feed is delivered.
