BetMGM Launches "The Traitors" Branded Online Slot

BetMGM has secured exclusive online casino rights to the reality competition series "The Traitors" and launched its first branded title built around the show, the company confirmed this week. The deal, struck with All3Media International (part of Banijay Entertainment), covers the IP across slots, table games, and other non-traditional casino formats, with more titles planned as the franchise expands.

What launched

The first release, "The Traitors™ Faithful Riches," is a 5x4-reel slot with 1,024 ways to win, developed by Games Global. It includes features tied to the show's format, including a Traitors Bonus, bonus spins, and a Traitor Feature mechanic. The game went live on September 17, 2026, timed to coincide with the television premiere of "The Traitors: New Blood."

It's currently available through BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and through Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Why an operator is licensing TV IP

Television and film licensing has become a recurring content strategy for regulated online casino operators, who compete partly on the depth and freshness of their game libraries in a market where core mechanics are otherwise fairly similar across platforms. Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM's SVP of Gaming, framed the deal as part of a broader content push, saying in a statement: "Television and movie IP is a key pillar of our content strategy, and our partnership with All3Media International gives us an opportunity to build a lasting iGaming franchise." The companies indicated additional titles based on the show are planned across different gameplay formats.

What it means for players

A branded slot changes the theme and presentation, not the underlying math — players evaluating any new slot release, licensed IP or otherwise, should still look at the same fundamentals: published RTP, volatility, and hit frequency, none of which are typically improved just because a game carries recognizable branding.
